WHO WE ARE.

Vermont 242 Cider is a local micro-cidery based in Montgomery Center, Vermont. We forage wild and forgotten apple trees around Route 242 and press them using a 120+ year-old rack-and-cloth cider mill.

Every fall, we rescue apples that would otherwise be left on the ground or forgotten on old backyard trees, giving them a second life as handcrafted cider that captures the character of each Vermont harvest.

We mAke cider the old way, lETting the fruit speAK For Itself ANd embracing the variatiOn of each season.

From wild and forgotten apple trees to fresh pressed cider. Handcrafted in small batches right here in Vermont.
