Misha is an up and coming artist based in Jay Peak, Vermont, whose works focuses on the simple beauty and pure forms of nature. She draws inspiration from the rolling green hills, blossoming spring flowers, thick white snowflakes, and endless falling apples. When not painting in her studio, you can find Misha frolicking and foraging in the woods, skinning to a secret snowy peak, soaking up sun by a swimming hole, and cooking up feasts for her ravenous family. 

Misha and her husband Bobby, with their three children, dropped anchor in Vermont on Rt. 242 in 2003. Driving up from Boston, where Misha is a professor of electrical engineering at a local university, they found the snow they wanted, and everything else followed. Misha spends winters on skis and summers barefoot, painting and writing.  In autumn, she devotes herself to apples. So far, her record is 237 jars of apple jam, made from a single wild apple tree that grows outside her window. Misha can be reached at m.stojanovic@northeastern.edu
